Wherever there is a large gathering of people, toilet facilities are essential. And because many of the most popular events are held outside, you’re sure to find portable restrooms… lots of them. This infographic lists the top portable restroom events from across the United States.
For full disclosure, not all of the events listed are completely reliant on portable toilets. However, that shouldn’t diminish how big these events are for the portable restroom operators who work them. They are huge money-makers for PROs each year.
If you look at our Restroom/Sink Estimator for Special Events, you’ll see that events with a crowd size of 100,000 and an average duration of 10 hours call for 1,251 units. Because many of the events listed are all-day, multi-day events, that estimate is well within the realm of possibility, if not on the low end of what can be expected.

I never took into account the fact that companies offering portable toilet rentals are huge money-makers every year. It seems like even those that offer residential portable toilet rental skin already have a huge income because of their huge market. Hopefully, they are in demand, their services will be affordable for people who need them even for small events and those that are on limited budget.
