I don’t use it, I’m old school.
Depends on what kind of shape the units are in. If there’s other problems with them I’d say it would be a good investment to get new ones. If everything’s in good enough shape and nothing’s broken I would just clean them.
Definitely do it. It’s a good way to find out what they really think of the job.
