Unfortunately, the World Heath Organization (WHO) and the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) estimate that 3.6 billion people don’t have access to a safely managed sanitation service.

- The portable sanitation industry includes more than 3,600 businesses and 39,000 employees around the world
- About 1,200 businesses in the United States are primarily focused on portable sanitation, and as many as 9,100 include portable sanitation within their business offerings
