Is a Mechanic’s Lien an Option When a Customer Won’t Pay?
June 5, 2023Whether you are hiring your first employee or considering pay raises for existing employees, determining how much to offer can be tricky. Set the bar too low, and you could struggle to attract and/or keep quality workers. But offer too much, and you could stretch your company thin financially.
The key is to be competitive with pay so that employees will find it worthwhile to work for you over the long term. Now, you may be wondering, what exactly is competitive pay? While there are a few different factors that influence the answer, we felt that it would be beneficial to provide some information to help you get in the ballpark.
The infographic below shows a breakdown of the hourly pay (in dollars) that people in the portable toilet rental industry reportedly pay their employees, would pay to future employees or are paid themselves. While not specified, it can be assumed that the pay rate applies to drivers/service techs. Pay rates/structures for sales reps or office-only staff could differ.
