Hand Sanitizer vs. Portable Sinks
Hand Sanitizer
For the Portable Restroom Operator
- Options include in-unit hand sanitizer dispensers or standalone sanitizer stands
- A lower-priced add-on than a sink, so you’ll make your money back faster
- Useful for customers in any industry
- Easy to transport. If the hand sanitizer dispenser is in the unit, you don’t need to bring anything additional. If it is on a stand, you can fit one stand — if not several — in a unit you are bringing.
For the User
- A good way to clean hands and remove germs as long as there is no visible dirt or debris on them
- Does not take a lot of time to use
- Does not use additional resources like water and paper towels
Portable Sinks
For the Portable Restroom Operator
- Options include in-unit washstands and soap dispensers or standalone portable sinks
- A higher-end add-on, so you can charge more
- Useful for customers in any industry, but especially food service, where there are strict handwashing requirements
For the User
- A good way to clean hands and remove germs, especially if there is dirt or debris on them
- Heated sinks satisfy the warm water handwashing requirements of health departments monitoring the food service industry
- Comfort of knowing that you are getting a thorough handwashing experience
