Ways to Tie Down Your Units
Strapless Trailers
- The fastest & easiest way to secure units
- Adjustable slats secure toilet skids on the trailer bed
- Eliminates concern of damage caused by over-tightening straps
- Most expensive option

Strap Over the Roof
- A strap is placed over the roof of the unit & tightened to secure it to the trailer or truck bed
- Some units like PolyJohn’s are made with slots on the roofs for straps to sit in & prevent the unit from moving around
- Care must be taken to not over-tighten the strap & cause damage to the unit
- An affordable option
Strap Around the Back
- One or more straps are placed around the back of the unit (or row of units) to secure it to the trailer or truck bed
- Many PROs use one strap in the middle of the unit & another at the bottom
- Care must be taken to not over-tighten the straps & cause damage to the unit
- An affordable option
