May 10, 2021The Importance of Having an Employee Handbook
May 31, 2021As everyone is well aware by now, COVID-19 has changed everything… potentially forever. The world has faced countless challenges caused by the virus. However, one positive that has come out of the pandemic is that it has demonstrated the enormous importance of the portable sanitation industry.
In 2020, business boomed for many PROs, and 2021 is poised to be their biggest year ever. Restrictions are starting to be lifted, and people are anxious to get back to a level of normalcy. Yet, “normal” in 2021 and beyond is likely to include an emphasis on sanitation like never before.
Typical revenue sources — construction projects, agriculture operations and special events (festivals, weddings, etc.) — will certainly not skimp on portable toilets, portable sinks, and hand sanitizer stands anytime soon. In addition, new revenue sources that emerged amidst the COVID-19 pandemic may not be in a hurry to revert to their standard sanitation offerings.
This will open many new business opportunities for portable sanitation businesses. PROs may be able to get repeat business from previously uninterested customers that are now in need of hand sanitizer stands and, if you’re able to upsell, maybe even portable sinks and toilets.
