April 28, 2025Looking to differentiate your business and better serve the needs of attendees at high-end events, large and small? Vacuum toilet systems are an alternative to luxury restroom trailers that offer benefits including efficient performance, low maintenance, improved hygiene and low water usage.
To give you an overview of the components that make up vacuum systems, we developed the infographic below. It highlights EcoLoo by PolyJohn, a standout system in the sector. It uses pure vacuum technology that eliminates the need for macerating pumps and can handle 2-inch solid materials without issues.

Components That Make Up Vacuum Systems
- Each 2-unit cabin includes a flushing toilet, sink with running water, soap dispenser, mirror, air freshener & LED lights
- Unit arrangements can include U-shaped, L-shaped, back-to-back or others to meet location needs
- All units are connected like a daisy chain, and every time a unit is flushed, the previous flush is moved down the line
- The last unit in the line connects to a tech unit, which creates vacuum, discharges waste, pumps fresh water & generates electricity
- The tech unit can be connected to a storage tank, vacuum truck or municipal sewage system
