Cindy Mortera.Hi, Im looking into getting into the industry and wonder what everyone recommends as far as a service vehicle to start with? i.e. truck with slide in . or trailer with equipment
Hello, I’d probably start with a pickup and a trailer. It gives you a lot more flexibility since you can haul different types of equipment and upgrade your setup as your business grows. That’s the route I’ve seen a lot of smaller tree service and landscaping businesses take. If you’re still comparing the kinds of equipment you’d eventually want to tow, I found helpful because they have different options that can give you an idea of what a typical setup looks like.
